After our latest assessment by the Visit England Quality in Tourism scheme we are proud to retain our Four Star Bed and Breakfast rating as well as our Silver Accolade and Breakfast Award. We have also now covered all the criteria to be a part of the Walkers Welcome and Cyclists Welcome schemes.
About The Gallery
The Gallery has a Visit England 4 Star Silver award and breakfast award. Silver awards recognise high quality accommodation and customer service.
The Grade II listed cottage is deceptively spacious, with three en-suite rooms retaining many of their original features, such as open fireplaces and wooden beamed ceilings.
Thirsk & the area
Thirsk is a wonderful traditional North Yorkshire market town in the Vale of York and best known as home to the author James Herriot. Placed on the edge of the North York Moors, it’s an ideal location from which to explore the stunning countryside, from the Moors to the Dales. Attractions in the area include:

We are proud of our award winning breakfasts using high quality local ingredients, including a choice of Masham sausages and Doreen's black pudding.
