The World of James Herriot is across the road from the B&B, the Thirsk Museum is next door and the racecourse is a five minute walk away.

Thirsk is an ideal base to explore the Yorkshire Dales and the North York Moors as well as York, Harrogate and Yorkshire’s beautiful coastline, including the resorts of Whitby, Scarborough and Robin Hoods Bay.
